Maternal Health Nursing

This course provides BSN students with comprehensive knowledge and clinical skills in maternal health nursing, focusing on the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as newborn care. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, holistic patient-centered care, health promotion, and the management of high-risk conditions. Students will develop competencies in antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing, integrating theory with clinical decision-making to ensure safe and effective maternal and newborn outcomes.
